Costume, Photo & Recital Guide
Technical rehearsal & costume distribution
Mandatory Technical Rehearsal week runs May 25–29. It gives dancers the chance to share choreography with others in the same time slots, acting as both performer and audience — an important step in preparing for the stage.
It's important for every dancer to attend their technical rehearsal, not only for their own practice but for the success of the whole group. A missing team member makes it confusing for the others to perform, which is why attendance is mandatory.
Costumes are distributed and sent home at the end of in-class technical rehearsals during this week.
Reminder: all fees (class, festival, and costume) must be paid in full before costumes can be released. Full costume, tights, proper hair, and shoes are required. Stage makeup is optional for tech week.
Photo day
Photo day is at the studio on May 30, starting at 10:30 am. Please arrive 10–15 minutes before your allotted time so the day runs smoothly and on schedule. A detailed schedule is provided separately.
To order photos — individual and class — order through Mountain Top Media. The Photo Day schedule lists the name of your child's dances to help you order the correct photos.
Full costume, proper hair, tights, shoes, and stage makeup are needed for Photo Day.
